The grading of Snow White pearls is extremely strict. Like Aurora Tennyo, the Pearl Institute (Japan) analyzes the nacre thickness, roundness, luster, blemishes, and overall appearance. Only untreated Akoya pearls that achieve the highest "Class One" grade can be certified as "Snow White pearls." Unlike Aurora Tennyo, Snow White pearls have a very rigorous standard regarding whether the body color is sufficiently snow white (untreated Akoya with a slightly yellowish or creamy tone, even if lustrous, cannot be certified as Snow White pearls). Snow White pearls require no color tuning, as the pearls inherently possess perfect transparency. When worn against the skin, their transparency illuminates the neck, giving you a composed, elegant, and refined look.
