Precautions: Beaded strands strung with steel wire require crimp beads/clasps, and these findings are made of alloy (not 18K gold). Over time, they may oxidize and discolor depending on individual body chemistry or environmental factors. Should this occur, you are welcome to bring the strand to us for free replacement of the findings and re-stringing.

In the early days, Japan also cultivated freshwater pearls. However, due to various reasons, their freshwater pearl farming eventually declined into a sunset industry, leading them to vigorously develop Akoya pearl cultivation instead. This strand of 3–4mm freshwater Keshi pearls comes from inventory that a third-generation Japanese pearl merchant has kept in storage for over 60 years 🙀. They recently rediscovered it during a stocktake. The iridescence of these freshwater Keshi pearls is remarkably rich, including common pink, orange, cream, and white strands. Yet the shop owner, who judges pearls with the discerning eye of a saltwater pearl connoisseur, immediately fell for this mixed-color baby Keshi strand. Under sunlight, these pearls shimmer with a golden, powdery, multicolored luster—truly outstanding, with a shine comparable to saltwater pearls, and a small, exquisite size. The shape of Keshi pearls exudes a natural, effortless, free-flowing beauty. Their price is also very appealing—you can buy several strands to layer together or pair them with gold necklaces for an effortlessly sophisticated look. Truly a versatile piece.
