This pearl strand is only a certificate away from being classified as Snow White pearls or untreated Aurora Hanadama. When we first received this batch, I was immediately drawn to their pure snow-white body color and mirror-like luster. If you don't mind the absence of a certificate and truly appreciate beautiful pearl luster, grab them now!

Untreated Akoya accounts for less than 10% of all Akoya production. Among the processing techniques for Akoya pearls, there is a step called "color tuning," which the Japanese describe as "an extremely subtle modification of the pearl's color" without affecting its overall appearance. The purpose of color tuning is to create a more uniform color among Akoya pearls, making them easier to match. After tuning, the pearls have a pinker undertone. Untreated Akoya is intended for those who appreciate the look of South Sea white pearls, but prefer the smaller size of Japanese Akoya pearls, which are more suitable for everyday wear in general settings. It is also ideal for those who love white pearls and want to achieve a cool, understated, and elegant look.
